Thrive Water Filters was born on the Mornington Peninsula from our own search for a better water solution for our family.
Water Filtration Shouldn't Feel So Complicated.
We cared about the water we were drinking, cooking with, showering in and using every day. But when we started looking into water filtration, we quickly realised how confusing it could be.
There were endless systems, different filtration claims, different technologies and a lot of technical information. It wasn't always easy to understand what we actually needed, what different systems did or who we could trust.
Scott's plumbing background gave us a different perspective.
Through Scott's work, he had seen filtration systems that were not properly suited to the home or customer, systems made with lower-quality components, and people investing significant money without really understanding what they were getting.
That became a big part of why we created Thrive.
We wanted to make water filtration simpler and easier to understand. Most importantly, we wanted to give families and businesses confidence that they were investing in a quality system suited to their water, their property and their needs.

Making Water Filtration Feel Simple and Approachable.
Hi, I'm Jayde, a mum, someone who has worked in the aquatic industry for over 10 years, and one of the people behind Thrive Water Filters.
Having spent so much of my working life in and around water, including as both a swim teacher and coordinator, I've seen how constant exposure to water can affect the way your skin, hair and eyes feel. It isn't just something swimmers notice. Staff who spend every day around the pool can notice it too.
Since becoming a mum, I've also become much more conscious of the water we use at home and the everyday choices we make for our family.
I've always been really fussy with drinking water. I could often notice a chemical taste, smell or just that "off" tap water flavour, so for a long time I found myself buying bottled water instead.
But I didn't love the ongoing cost, the amount of plastic involved or relying on bottled water all the time. I knew there had to be a better way to have water at home that tasted fresh and enjoyable to drink.
That search for a better option is a big part of what led us to Thrive.
I'm passionate about making water filtration feel simple and approachable, and helping other families find a solution they can feel confident using in their own home.
For me, Thrive is about better everyday water without the confusion. It's about creating something I'd genuinely be happy to use for my own family.
22+ Years of Plumbing Experience Behind Thrive.
Scott has worked in the plumbing industry for more than 22 years, giving him extensive experience across residential plumbing, water systems and infrastructure.
Today, Scott runs S F Plumbing on the Mornington Peninsula. His experience in the plumbing industry forms an important part of the practical knowledge behind Thrive Water Filters.
Earlier in his career, Scott worked on Melbourne's water main network, where he saw firsthand the condition of some of the pipes our water travels through before it reaches our homes.
Seeing ageing infrastructure and build-up inside those systems made him much more conscious of water quality and what could be coming through the tap.
That experience was a big part of why he wanted to find a better water solution for his own family.
When Scott began looking more closely at water filtration, he found that not every system was built to the same standard. Some used lower-quality plastic components or fittings, and the differences between filtration methods were not always obvious to the customer.
With his plumbing background, Scott wanted a system he could genuinely trust, built from quality components and properly suited to the water it was filtering.
He wanted something he would feel confident installing in his own home and using for his own family, with the quality and performance to provide cleaner, better-tasting water every day.
That experience and practical knowledge now forms a big part of what sits behind Thrive Water Filters.
